In the picturesque village of Seux, near Amiens on the river Somme, stands ‘Le Petit Coque’ – a café bar run by François Derrière with his wife Claudette and waitress Amélie.

Despite the German occupation of 1940, his life has remained largely unchanged, except that his customers now include the various ranks of German soldiers stationed there.

However the murder of a strange man in the kitchens of ‘Le Petit Coque’ spells trouble for everyone as François tries to juggle the relationships he has with his wife, his mistress, the Gestapo, a missing painting, two British Airmen and La Resistance at the same time!

The Cast:

• François Derrière - The owner of ‘Le Petit Coque’.
  An affable café proprietor François enjoys mingling with the guests, his work, and an ongoing affair with Amélie.



• Claudette Derrière – The wife of François.
  Hard working and dependable but not very easy going, Claudette is always polite to her guests whether she likes them or not!



• Amélie Boudoir - The waitress at ‘Le Petit Coque’.
  A hard-working feisty girl, Amélie is buxom and flirtatiously dressed in a bid to attract more tips from the men at her tables.



• Heinrich Von Pinscher - Wermacht Obersturmbannfuehrer (Lt. Colonel.)
  A Lt. Colonel in the German army put in charge of Amiens, Von Pinscher is happy so long as he can drink and eat well in the local cafes and bars.



• Gunter Schnell - Gestapo Kommisar
  Head of the local Gestapo, Schnell does not trust anybody and will stop at nothing to climb the career ladder in the Nazi hierarchy.

Never run a large group mystery before? Then don't panic!

Hosting a Large Group Murder Mystery is time consuming, but with ample preparation and a good cast it is really quite simple and great fun!

In large group games it is impossible to give everyone a part, instead the mystery involves “cast members” who are fully in the know and act out the mystery, and the guests act as detectives trying to solve the murder.

This particular game requires 5 cast (who are fully in the know) and the use of 1 large dining room . One murder occurs before the guests arrive and one during the evening. The game is constructed to be run during a formal dinner.

Your guests play the role of detectives. You can have any number of detectives for this mystery, your only limit is the size of your room, however we would suggest a number no greater than 200.
